twice interlink
[edit]You added ja: to some articles which already had it, and sometimes you added it twice. Please see following links: [1] [2]. --Acepectif 03:44, 10 January 2006 (UTC)
- I understood. I am careful about how to put on interlang. Thank you. --shikai shaw 01:14, 23 May 2006 (UTC)
I noticed that you add ORX-005 Gaplant to the list, could you please point me out which series does it appear? L-Zwei 12:21, 8 February 2006 (UTC)
- Gaplant appears in the beginning of Gaia Gear, and there is an important meaning for a chief character. But Gaplant is not in condition to operate. I delete it if unnecessary. --shikai shaw 17:09, 8 February 2006 (UTC)
Thank you for explanation, then it should be there.L-Zwei 16:24, 9 February 2006 (UTC)
System-∀99 ∀ Gundam
[edit]You probably already saw, but I've listed System-∀99 ∀ Gundam for deletion. KI 04:15, 21 February 2006 (UTC)
- Sorry, I don't know English Wikipedia rules. I moved System-∀99 ∀ Gundam to WD-M01 Turn A Gundam, it's OK? --shikai shaw 04:32, 21 February 2006 (UTC)

- 20. Koisuru otome wa tsuyoinoyo dekki - "The girl/maiden in love is strong" deck.

About Z Plus's name
[edit]Isn't it's pronoun as Z Plus not Zeta Plus?L-Zwei 14:35, 6 March 2006 (UTC)
- Sorry, I can't understand your question. Because I can speak English little.
- When I examined it, a correct mark of Zeta Plus is "Ζplus". Ζ is Zata of a Greek character. However, it becomes the ゼータプラス (Zeta plus) of the katakana in the plastic model of Bandai because of the trademark.
- An easy example is enumerated as follows.
- Ζ (Greek: Zeta/ゼータ) - Ζ Gundam, Ζplus, ΖΖ Gundam, etc...
- Z (Japanese English: Zet/ゼット) - ZII (ゼッツー (Zettū/Zet-two) from Ζ-MSV, However, it becomes the Zeta Twei of the katakana in the Gundam Fix Figuration because of the trademark.)
- Z (German: Zet/ツェット) - FAZZ (ファッツ (Fattsu/Fats) from Gundam Sentinel)

AC Gundam Data
[edit]Hello. I was just wondering what you use as sources/standards for the edits you make to the pages about After Colony Gundam things. You seem to have a very strict set of criteria, but I can't make sense of it - you don't allow some things that turn up all over the place (OZ-17MS Serpent), but then put in obscure data not present in the original source (The model numbers for the Deathscythe and Shenlong Perfect Album MSVs). Rather than just editing back and forth, I decided to ask what you were basing it on.
Sorry if my English is hard to understand; I'm bad at keeping things simple.
Golux Ex Machina 15:44, 10 April 2006 (UTC)
- OZ-17MS ,SK-12SMS and WF-12SMS are original numbers by a fan made with MAHQ. As far as I know it, They do not have a source by Japanese, but do they have a source by English, you know? Please take Google searching into account too. [3], [4], [5]
- The source of Deathscythe and Shenlong MSVs are Kodansha "Comic BombBomb" November, 1995 issue.
- Because I am weak in English, I'm sorry if you can not understand. --shikai shaw 04:29, 11 April 2006 (UTC)
- By the way, is English version of "Tiel's Impulse" released? A Japanese original version does not have information about a model number at all. --shikai shaw 04:50, 11 April 2006 (UTC)
I think The Gundam Project (which is shut down) used the OZ-17MS and the Taurus numbesr first, but I could be wrong. I'm curious as to where they came from, though.
Tiel's Impulse is not out in English; I don't know where those numbers came from either. Is the November Comic BomBom also the source of the names like "Tornado Gundam" and "Dinosaur Gundam" for the MSVs?
Golux Ex Machina 18:24, 11 April 2006 (UTC)
- Because English does not have confidence, I add Japanese.
- Is "Gundam Project" a website? I do not know it, but the possibility that these were made for there will be high. On Internet, it often happens that wrong content spreads out. (For example, Dragon Ball AF.) Therefore, we must refer to the original source so that we confirm that the contents are right.
- I was not able to discover the original source in a Japanese book at least. Moreover, it is confirmed to be hardly found in the Internet of Japanese area though it is seen well in the Internet of English area. In other words it will be evidence to say that the original source was written in English of these model numbers. To begin with, because spelling "Sanc Kingdam" in Japan is "Cinq Kingdom" or "Thank Kingdam", it doesn't become "SK".
- The Gundam series has many the matters that it is shown only with a magazine, and is not recorded by a book. However, it may be said that there are very little them about Gundam W. It is proved that there are not them by that you cannot prove that there are those model numbers. Please refer to Probatio diabolica in detail.
- As for "Tiel's Impulse" (Jitsugyo no Nihon sha "New Mobile Report Gundam W Endless Waltz Saikyo Playing Book" ISBN 4-408-61474-2), it is the same. There do not seem to be sources other than the original by "Tiel's Impulse " when thinking from the situation such as publishers. Since English version is not released; the information that does not appear in the original sources on Internet(Besides, it is only the English area!) It is the evidence that it is false to spread out.
- In any case it is profanity for a producer of the Gundam series that carry the information that I cannot confirm of the original forever, and it is not a permissible thing. If these information is put, it should be described, "The possibility is high that it is the creation with the fan because it is information confirmed only by the Internet of English area" by the article on each mobile suits page.
- Deathscythe and Shenlong Variations carried by Kodansha "Comic BombBomb" November, 1995 issue was made as the expectation that new mobile suit (it is Deathscythe Hell and Altron) appeared to television. Afterwards, it was corrected to the setting of experimental idea of Deathscythe and Shenlong when published in Kodansha "The New Mobile History Gundam W Perfect Album" (ISBN 4-06-103300-X) , and the change in the name and the removal of the model number were done. Moreover, the variation of Heavyarms and Sandrock was added. The change of a name is as follows.
(The New Mobile History Gundam W Perfect Album)
(Gundam Deathscythe Variations)
(Gundam Crazy Beast)
(Gundam Nightmare Centauros)
(Gundam Dark Angel)
(Gundam Mad Tarantula)
(Shenlong Gundam Variations)
(Blizzard Gundam)
(Twin Headed Lizard Gundam)
(Shooting Star Shenlong)
(Aqua Shenlong)
D (Catastrophe D)
Yes, Gundam Project is a website. It'd shut down now however.
Also, thanks for clearing up the origins of those MSVs.

AC Gundam Data (2)
[edit]Hi I noticed your recent updates to the After Colony mobile suit pages and template and just so you know I am going to have to disagree with those updates and so I'll post this message here first before I revert anything. The problems with those pages in my POV are that even though a lot of the mobile suit pages that were merged are similar, however the key issue is that not only is it off topic as those pages were originally created about that specific mobile suit and that the sudden merging of the these pages has affected the quality of the original page although a few exceptions are the different minor variations such as the Leo, Virgo, Tallgeese II and the modified Sandrock and Heavyarms since seperating them wouldn't exactly create a decent article. -Adv193 23:59, 29 November 2006 (UTC)
- We continue arranging Gundam related page in Japanese Wikipedia. I unified the pages which did not make ends meet according to it alone. Please understand it. --shikai shaw 04:18, 8 December 2006 (UTC)
- Okay and just so you know there is a big debate about merging similar Mobile suit pages together in the Cosmic Era Mobile Suits right now. I was thinking that if it is sucessful then I can possibly focus on drawing the attention to the After Colony Mobile Suits to. If you want you can post a note in that disscussion page then here is the link: Wikipedia:WikiProject Gundam. -Adv193 18:01, 12 December 2006 (UTC)

Temporaary block
[edit]I've blocked you for the time being due to your mass page moves. You have been reverting page moves to include "ryū" in the page name. This is the proper transcription into the Roman Alphabet for the various karate techniques. Moves need to be discussed at the English Wikipedia, and you were doing mass unilateral changes. I will be unblocking you after I finish this message, but please do not continue the page moves.—Řÿūłóñģ (竜龍) 08:47, 28 June 2007 (UTC)
- I'm sorry. Because "Ryu", "ryu", "ryū", "-ryu" and "-ryū" coexisted, I intended to unify it.--shikai shaw 08:55, 28 June 2007 (UTC)
- That is all right. Generally, if it's read as りゅう, then it should be written as "ryū." Most pages get created and unnoticed. I was only notified of the moves because it was making my IRC client go off when you made the moves. Please watch out from now on.—Řÿūłóñģ (竜龍) 08:58, 28 June 2007 (UTC)
- I understood it. I will be careful in future.--shikai shaw 09:07, 28 June 2007 (UTC)
Info regarding kata names, etc
[edit]Hello from Okinawa.
I wondered - where did you get the information regarding meanings of kata names, etc.? Most of it is from my personal writings and essays, much of it word for word.
How did it come to you?
Actually, I don't mind it being posted as alternate meaning or supplemental information; I am just puzzled about the source. I didn't share that with many people, and the Zankai is the only UechiRyu association or style that uses these meanings.
If you prefer, you may post to me privately.

Regards to all,
Seizan 21:16, 2 July 2007 (UTC)
- I am sorry by the business that there was a mistake, because I do not so know a lot in Uechi-ryū. But Uechi-ryū is a school of the Okinawa karate, and please forgive it because it is in particular absoluteness to be near to Naha-te. --shikai shaw 01:56, 14 August 2007 (UTC)
Hello again. I did not mention any mistake, or mention Naha-Te. I asked where you found the kata name/meaning information you posted. I did not even ask for it to be removed. I simply wish to know where you found it. I am interested since the information is uniquely my own and derived from my unpublished work. If you wish, you may reply to my e-mail shown above.

Mass renaming of Japanese people
[edit]I just noticed that you renamed many articles of Japanese people from given name + family name to family name + given name. On the English language version of Wikipedia, names of modern Japanese people should be written as given name + family name, per Wikipedia:Manual of Style (Japan-related articles)#Names of modern figures. I realize that this is different from the Japanese language version of Wikipedia, but I believe that most of the articles you renamed already had the proper titles, as per the English guidelines. Would you kindly go back and undo all of your recent moves of modern people? In the future, before you make mass page moves, please discuss it. Thank you. --Scott Alter 23:20, 14 August 2007 (UTC)
- I understand it. Because both styles coexisted, I did not understand it which I should have unified it in. Therefore I did it in that way, but revise it. Thank you. --shikai shaw 01:30, 15 August 2007 (UTC)
Your edits on List of Lucky Star characters
[edit]Certainly, your edits on List of Lucky Star characters is made under good faith and is not vandalism. However, Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collection of information. In the case of this article, it already contained too much information that would not be of interest for a people reading a general-purpose encyclopedia and editors are actively removing unnecessary content in that article. As a result, I decided to revert your edit.
Although not a Wikipedia policy or guideline, I consider WP:CRUFT of interest for what should be or should not be included in articles related to fictional universes.--Samuel di Curtisi di Salvadori 16:38, 11 September 2008 (UTC)
- Aside from the last time, this revision performs only the following things mainly.
- I matched the name of the item with the English official site.
- I matched the turn of the item with a Japanese formula profile.
- I added age.
- I hardly let a hand in each item of the profile and main text. Therefore I do not understand it why it was done a revert this time. I sharpened the unnecessary item as much as possible and intend to have aimed at the neutral page. I do not intend to have been against no policy and a guideline of Wikipedia either.--shikai shaw (talk) 18:20, 11 September 2008 (UTC)
Mass renaming
[edit]You've already been blocked once for mass renaming of articles, so I'm appalled that you have turned around and done it again, messing up multiple album lists by your wholly inappropriate renaming of them from "List of series albums" to "List of series singles and albums." Your renames violate all naming conventions and were completely inappropriate. Please do NOT do any more article renaming until you actually are well versed in naming guidelines and DISCUSS such renames. Meanwhile, I have reverted all of the renames (I hope). -- Collectonian (talk · contribs) 20:04, 11 September 2008 (UTC)
No content in Category:Japanese tanks
[edit]Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Category:Japanese tanks, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Category:Japanese tanks has been empty for at least four days, and its only content has been links to parent categories. (CSD C1).
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Category:Japanese tanks, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. Notification: changes to "Mark my edits as minor by default" preference
[edit]Hello there. This is an automated message to tell you about the gradual phasing out of the preference entitled "Mark all edits minor by default", which you currently have (or very recently had) enabled.
On 13 March 2011, this preference was hidden from the user preferences screen as part of efforts to prevent its accidental misuse (consensus discussion). This had the effect of locking users in to their existing preference, which, in your case, was true
. To complete the process, your preference will automatically be changed to false
in the next few days. This does not require any intervention on your part and you will still be able to manually mark your edits as being minor in the usual way.
For established users such as yourself there is a workaround available involving custom JavaScript. With the script in place, you can continue with this functionality indefinitely (its use is governed by WP:MINOR). If you have any problems, feel free to drop me a note.
Thank you for your understanding and happy editing :) Editing on behalf of User:Jarry1250, LivingBot (talk) 18:51, 15 March 2011 (UTC)

- I'm sorry. But "Saito", "Saitou" and "Saitō" are Japanese hiragana letter "さいとう", and this is only difference in romaji notation. Therefore you should transcribe it into "Saitō" in Wikipedia. See Romanization of Japanese#Long_vowels.
- And see http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/people.php?id=66935 , wrote "Website: Yuka Saitō @ Aoni Production (Japanese)" in this Site.--shikai shaw (talk) 07:00, 18 September 2011 (UTC)
Mass renaming
[edit]I noticed you moved the article Hideo Kanze to Kanze Hideo, and made several other page moves placing the family name first in biographical articles about Japanese subjects. You have already been advised by User:Scottalter about the Manual of Style for articles concerning Japan (WP:JATITLE) which advises on the English Wikipedia to name modern (beginning of the Meiji period) Japanese subjects as given name + family name—granted this was in 2007, but you accepted this and agreed then, and it is only six messages up on your talk page. Are you able to advise why you appear to have resumed renaming a significant number of articles in violation of this guideline? --Canley (talk) 04:21, 12 February 2013 (UTC)
- Because these names are the names to affect traditional culture (Kabuki and Noh) in Japan, the one where a family name is before it is good.--shikai shaw (talk) 05:23, 12 February 2013 (UTC)
- Thanks for the reply. I raised it on the WP:JAPAN discussion page, another editor agrees with you, but also notes the Manual of Style does not mention any exceptions—perhaps it should. --Canley (talk) 05:01, 13 February 2013 (UTC)
- I'm happy for you to move back my other reversions of your page moves, as the discussion on the WP:JAPAN talk page seems to be reaching consensus that Noh and Kabuki performers be listed as their stage name which has the "family name" first. However, in the case of Hideo Kanze, the editors in the discussion seem to agree that this was his real name, not a stage name, and the article title should follow the Manual of Style (given name first). --Canley (talk) 05:42, 14 February 2013 (UTC)
- Certainly. Hideo Kanze played an active part as a noh player, but the activity as the actor was long, too.--shikai shaw (talk) 07:17, 14 February 2013 (UTC)
Birth date for Tanroh Ishida
[edit]Hi. I am afraid I had to remove the birth date and place you added to the Tanroh Ishida article recently in accordance with the Wikipedia guidelines at Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons and Wikipedia:Verifiability, as, not only was it not accompanied by a reference source, but these details are not mentioned in any of the sources currently provided on the article - including his official profile. I agree that it would be highly useful to be able to include such information in a biographical Wikipedia article such as this, so if you do have access to a reliable source that backs up the information, please feel free to add it to the article. Thanks. --DAJF (talk) 07:13, 14 February 2013 (UTC)
- Certainly.--shikai shaw (talk) 07:17, 14 February 2013 (UTC)
Ryūkyū merge
[edit]Please do not rename Ryūkyū Province and Ryūkyū Domain. There are good reasons for keeping two separate articles. Yes, there are many ways that these two subjects overlap, but the differences are important -- perhaps more important.
It appears that your purpose is something like Wikipedia:Merging, but Wikipedia:Moving a page is not the ordinary or best process for this kind of change.
This subject requires discussion and consensus. Please do not be discouraged. This is not simple or easy.
For the time being, I am restoring the two articles to the way they were before. In effect, I am reverting your work. I hope you understand why this is reasonable. --Ansei (talk) 15:42, 20 March 2013 (UTC)
- Province and Domain are totally different concepts. But Ryukyu Province does not seem to be an official Province like Karafuto Province. You may be considered to be it how if you have you specify so. --shikai shaw (talk) 16:15, 20 March 2013 (UTC)
- Yes, we start from agreement that the system known as the Provinces of Japan and the Japanese Han system are not the same.
Yes, we also agree that the way in which the Ryūkyū Islands were parsed in the context of each system is overlapping.
Yes, in some parts of each article, the cited sources may be interpreted as interchangeable.
However, the differences are important; and they are obscured or lost in the redirect.
No, it is not necessary to explain all the distinctions between province and domain. Reliable sources are cited which support two distinct and specific subjects; and further edits by other contributors can refine the work which has been invested. --Ansei (talk) 17:38, 20 March 2013 (UTC)
- @Shikai shaw -- One of the sentences in your diff here presents an informal fallacy. The statement is like apples and oranges. The only safe response to this is to reject the premise because of the implied controversies which it generates:

- Thank you. In my opinion, we need both Ryūkyū Province and Ryūkyū Domain. In part, this is explained in a major re-write of Han system.

In my opinion, there is a problem with adding these Pre-Taihō Code provinces to the category of former countries in Japanese history? --Ansei (talk) 13:41, 29 May 2013 (UTC)
- They are not a 令制国 (Province). They are local administration of the ancient. Therefore, they are categorized in ja:Category:日本の古代国家 in Japanese Wikipedia. Kumaso is a country that does not subordinate to Yamato. Therewith, Kibi Province and Kingdom of Kibi are the same country. --shikai shaw (talk) 14:12, 29 May 2013 (UTC)

[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of Lucky Star albums, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Rino (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

I see that you've reverted my changes on this article. The first time, you moved the link to the See Also section. The second time, you removed the piped link through Ikazuchi (disambiguation) directly. The reason that I'm piping the link through the (disambiguation) redirect is WP:INTDABLINK, which says that intentional links to disambiguation pages should be piped through the (disambiguation) redirect. -Niceguyedc Go Huskies! 04:36, 7 September 2014 (UTC)

Hello, Shikai shaw,
I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether 高田駅 should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/高田駅 .
If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.
Thanks,

According to Daily Shincho, he was born (本名) "Tamaki, Yasuhiro", and his nickname (愛称) is "Tamaki, Denny". However, I think, your this edit is in reverse. What is the reason for this? Thanks. --Garam (talk) 15:12, 2 October 2018 (UTC)
- When he was born, his real name was "Dennis". But when he was in elementary school fourth grade, he renamed it "Yasuhiro" after the procedure at the family court. --shikai shaw (talk) 05:35, 3 October 2018 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, Shikai shaw. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Commissioner General".

List of Is the Order a Rabbit? episodes
[edit]I'm aware that the spaces in Japanese are used to separate sentences and I agree that they should be added on the english translation for comprehension purpose but why would you add them to the transliteration? The Romanization is converting the original text using the Latin script, not the english translation and its purpose is to accomodate the reading and the spelling of the text to non Japanese speaker, so I don't see why the commas are needed here. 2A04:CEC0:10CC:20CB:4483:CA4F:41D3:6133 (talk) 05:02, 11 November 2020 (UTC)
- Hello. This title consists of two sentences, but it has no punctuation marks and is separated by a space. In order to express this accurately in Roman letters, it is necessary to insert some delimiter. Commas are added to "Pūru ni Nurete, Ame ni Nurete, Namida ni Nurete" and "Egao to Furasshu ga Yakamashī, Kore ga Watashi no Jishō Ane desu" as well, so I think they should be matched. --shikai shaw (talk) 11:57, 11 November 2020 (UTC)

The article Nozomi Sasaki has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Unnecessary disambiguation
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
This bot DID NOT nominate any of your contributions for deletion; please refer to the history of each individual page for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 10:01, 4 January 2024 (UTC)
