About the sales of Bubble tea in Canada, Milk Tea Alliance and is tapioca mainly produced in Asia or South America?
[edit]- So in the section of Popularity#United States, it mentioned this; "A massive shipping and supply chain crisis on the U.S. West coast, coupled with the obstruction of the Suez Canal in March 2021, caused a shortage of tapioca pearls for bubble tea shops in the U.S. and Canada. Most of the tapioca consumed in the U.S. is imported from Asia, since the critical ingredient, tapioca starch, is mostly grown in Asia." So it is mainly grown in Asia, does it come from South America or Asia? In addition to that, can we add a footnote about the production of tapioca starch in Asia and South America? Also, can we add the section for the popularity in Canada? I have proof that it is from South America:http://www.berkeleyinternational.net/tapioca_introduction.htm#:~:text=Tapioca%20is%20a%20root%20crop,%2C%20Guatemala%2C%20Honduras%20and%20Brazil.
- So in the section of Popularity#Taiwan, it also mentioned this; "Bubble tea is used to represent Taiwan in the context of the Milk Tea Alliance." Since the Milk Tea Alliance consists of Taiwan, Hong Kong(which also has a section), Thailand, and Myanmar/Burma. Can we add a section for Thailand and Myanmer/Burma?

Change subsection title 'China' to 'Mainland China' to avoid political disputes Lrq571 (talk) 14:33, 16 June 2023 (UTC)
- Not done. In my opinion, we shouldn't change this as the sources and text included provide a general overview of China that does include other republic-controlled areas. Cocobb8 (💬 talk to me! • ✏️ my contributions) 15:35, 16 June 2023 (UTC)
